Get Unstuck – Day 1

I know – something feels off, right?

Maybe you already know what it is. But sometimes, it’s just an unidentifiable ‘off’ feeling. A dull ache you can’t quite place. Restlessness. Tightness. A thought that keeps showing up.

Sometimes it shows up in your body first.

Take a minute.

Where does it feel tight?

Where does your breath catch?

Your body usually knows long before your mind when something isn’t right.

But it’s different for everyone.

And you might be thinking: I totally know what this is. I just want to fix it. Make a decision. Do something.

I know. Oh, do I know. But here’s the thing: before you can make a real move, a real change, you have to be able to sit with the off feeling.

Not solve it. Not get rid of it. Just… be with it.

I name mine. I’m a little weird like that. Howard and Shelby.

So yes—you want to get unstuck. But the first step is sitting with the stuckness. Knowing it’s there. Letting it exist. And remembering, this is important, you will not feel like this forever.

You don’t need to figure anything out today. And we couldn’t even do that in one day, if we wanted to. Sorry. Today is just for noticing the feeling and letting it be there.

It’s really hard because if you ignore it or rush past it, you miss what it’s trying to show you.

It’s there for a reason. It’s trying to move you out of something… and toward something else. But you don’t need to know what that is yet.

Today is just this: sit with the off feeling. Let it exist.

I can’t promise much. But I can promise this: you won’t always feel like this.
